You may already know from the last blog entry, Missions Reboot, that we have been praying about where the Lord would have us serve
him. After much prayer, our family has accepted a call to serve the Lord in
Spain with World Witness, the sending arm of the Associate Reformed
Presbyterian Church (ARPC). Justin took a vision trip to visit the work in
Spain this spring and returned energized for the work already starting there.
IN THIS ENTRY
We will talk about the work in Spain and how you can be part of it through prayer, financial gifts, opportunities to share our ministry with others, and more.

Here we go:
OUR ASSIGNMENT
We aim to move to Spain the summer of 2016. Our flexible plan is to spend our first year in Toledo, Spain getting to know existing churches in order to build strong, fraternal relationships. We then plan to move to Oviedo, in the North, at the end of our first year.

Spain is a new field for World Witness. The opportunity to send people to the region came together in a providential way a few years ago. A few families from WW are already there and have started building relationships and connecting with churches
RAISING A SUPPORT TEAM
“Support,” in missions lingo, refers to the finances, prayer, interest, and participation of people like you. The Support Team is an integral part of the ministry of missions.

We would love for you to join our support team as we serve the Lord
in Spain.
WE WANT TO SHARE WITH YOU
Please let us know if you would like either or both of us to come and share with your church, Sunday school or Bible study. Or maybe we could just come and share a conversation over coffee, or a presentation in your home with friends. If you know of others who might want to hear about the work in Spain, connect us! We'd be happy to meet with them.

PRAYER
Pray for us! This is the most important thing you can do for the work in Spain. Follow this blog for prayer requests and latest happenings.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT TEAM
Last but not least is the financial need. The physical needs of a missionary are met through financial gifts and monthly commitments. It is the hardest need for us to mention, but it is a critical need for getting us to the field and maintaining the ministry there.

ONE TIME GIFTS and MONTHLY COMMITMENTS: We are often asked whether one time or monthly gifts are better. The answer is that each has tremendous value.
Ongoing monthly financial commitments provide long-term
benefit. Monthly gifts that start now, even before we are fielded, are used for
pre-field expenses, like training and travel. Once in Spain, these monthly commitments will sustain us
and the ministry.
One time gifts have their own role in our budget and cover a
multitude of purposes from pre-field to on the field.
THANK YOU! One of the many blessings about raising support is that we get to see how God works through people like you. Thank you for being part of our Support Team.
In Him,
Justin and Gillian Brickey
